Mika used to stutter-step before the jumps when she jumped 16" Regular, but now that she runs in 10" Specials she jumps a lot more easily. She never displayed any of the other symptoms, so I think she was stutter-stepping because I never really taught her how to jump...I kind of just taught her by leading her over a bar and just raising it higher.
