Transformation Tuesday

I saw this on FaceBook last week, people posting pictures of their dogs as puppies and then as adults. At the time I didn't have a chance to look for pictures so I thought I would do a blog post.

New Friend

On Saturday, I took all three boys to Dogs Canine Sports Centre, known as Dogz to everyone around Ottawa.  There was a fun trial on but we weren't entered; I was just making it an outing for them all to see a new puppy a friend had just gotten from New York.  The new puppy is the offspring of her young male Sheltie named Whistler. Whistler and Beckett are nearly the same age with Whistler being just 3 days older; hard to believe my baby boy could also be a Daddy.

The new puppy's call name is Sam. Keltic and Sam took no time at all to become fast friends; running around and playing with each other. They probably looked at one another and said, "hey, you look like me." Sam and Keltic are nearly the same age. Keltic was born in mid March and Sam in early April.

It was hard to tell them apart. But there are little ways. Keltic has some white on his face, Sam has none. On their back legs, Sam has boots, while Keltic has little socks. On their front legs, Keltic's are both white while Sam has one white and one brown (or should I say sable). It was hard to get a good shot of them as they were moving too fast, running through and playing in the tunnel.

I'm sure they'll have lots of fun together as they grow.

MishMash Monday

This a picture of Mattie, Tucker's mum with her two boys when they were about 5 weeks old. I'm not sure which is Tucker as their markings were so similar. This picture was taken before digital so you never knew what you got until the film was developed. This was the best picture of those I took and it still was a little out of focus. I'm not a great photographer but I was usually better than this.
