Teddy is Six!

We're a day early celebrating Teddy's sixth birthday but what else is there to do on a cold wet freezing rain kind of day. 

I had already made some pumpkin pupcakes earlier in the week and had taken some out of the freezer this morning to thaw for tomorrow. But since I didn't get my errands done today, I decided we'd celebrate today.  I quickly made potato buttercream icing for the pupcakes and we had our little pawty.

Teddy is not too thrilled about wearing a party hat or posing for pictures but he's a sport about it all. He waits until I'm done taking pictures to get excited about getting a pupcake and presents.

In addition to the pupcake, Teddy got a new bumper and some treats. He got more treats than I planned to buy as how could I resist buying treats called Teddy Treats. 

The boys also got new collars but really, they're for Easter. I don't know why I bother; you can never really see the collar with long Sheltie fur.

So now Teddy has had more birthdays with me than with anyone else. I hope he likes it here with me. You always wonder what they think about.

Six!

Hey there, it be me Liam. I be six already, six months that is. I has growed a lot. Mums says she hopes I don't growed too much more. She maded dis picture of me so youse can see how much I growed.

Mums told me about my brudder-before Beckett and said I gots big shoes to fill but I gots big feet so I think I can fill da shoes, if'n I have to wear shoes. 

Mums tooked me to a store for my half birdday. I had ta get my nails trimmed but dat wasn't too bad. I gots a new wubba toy and some Scooby snacks to share with Keltic man and Teddy buddy. 

She also maded us some cookies but we didn't gets many as Mums says dat there for Crispmas. I don't know who Crispmas is but I sure hopes he shares his cookies.

Today Mums also maded some cookies for the peoples too. She says we doggies can't have any of those cookies, dat they is too rich for us.

Mums says we is going to get a tree soon so she putted away my x-pen as she says it would be in da way.  I gets to eat in the kitchen with Keltic and Teddy now. She says da tree is for Crispmas too, I don't know why he gets a tree. We already has trees outside in our yard.

Mums says if I be a good boy dat Santa Paws will bring me pressies.  I sure want to meet dis Santa Paws guy.  I think I been purdy good. I hasn't chewed up to many things, mostly just toilet paper. Well dats all I got to say for now. I promise I'll be back. See youse all, Liam. 

Beckett's Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated Becket's ninth birthday by going on a shopping trip. First, we went to Global Pet Foods where I buy their dry dog food. I was looking for some kind of flying disc but I didn't see one I thought Beckett would like so we bought treats instead.  Keltic picked them out, they must have smelled good as he popped the lids right off the containers.  We also bought Zukes for agility treats and two of the special cookies.

Next we went to Pet Valu, again I looked for some kind of flying disc.  They did have one but I didn't want to pay that much as we had spent more than I wanted at Global so we just bought more treats instead. They put them in a nice little brown bag that you can see in the pictures. They had one of the treats from the little brown bag before going inside.

Inside, I had some other things for Beckett that I wrapped up so then we did the birthday pictures at the table.  

After the requisite party pictures, the boys got to eat the big cookie.  Don't worry I cut back their dinner so no one would get an upset tummy.

Then it was time  to open the gifts.  Well, Beckett tried but then I had to do it for him.

These presents weren't treats so perhaps that's why there wasn't so much interest; they were a new collar and a little fabric disc to play with indoors.

Beckett is in his last year of single digits, I hope we have many more years ahead but you never know.

Pawty and Pressies

Hey der again everyone, it be me Keltic again.  Mums said I could write an tell you about my pawty.

Mums surprised us and had in vited some of our fur friends, Jasmine and Fannie.  Not so sure I liked that as I had to share my pupcakes but we still has some left so I guess it was okay. We had to sit for the silly pictures again. I nearly jumped on the table when Mums moved the pupcakes to take the plastic off, I thoughted she wasn't going to give us any.

Mums gaved us each one of  da big pupcakes.  I had to be a good host and I got my pupcake last.  I still ated mine faster than all de others so there's no picture of me eating my cake.

After we wented outside for a bit, I gots to open my pressies.  I gots a red dragon toy, some food toys dat Mums says I has to share with Beckett, some treats and a new collar. 

We each got to try da treats but we hasn't tried da food toys yet. Mums says we will get to try dem at supper tonight. I had a good pawty. I wish we could hab more birdays.

Catching up wid Crispmas

Hey dere eberyone is me Beckett. My Mums has been slacking off wid typing out our posts so you habben herd much from me or Keltic.

I finally got her to sit down to type out our Crispmas post.  Weez had a very warm December and still had green grass when Crispmas arrived. Dat didna stop Santa Paws as he still left me an Keltic lots of pressies.  Keltic figured out to open da gifts dis year, I still was a little worried I was na supposed to rip dem up.

Santa Paws broughted so many pressies he putted some in da treat cupboard since dey didna all fit in our Crispmas sock.

Mums putted up her village and a tree again dis year. She gotted a new piece for da village dat her sister sent her. It is another dog for da village. You can never has too many doggies.

And she got da trees wid da red birds from da sister dat lives near us.  Da village still be up but da tree is now down and waiting by da roadside for da recycling truck to come.  It was a furry nice tree. Mums had to cut off da top a wee bit as it was too tall for da star but it worked out just fine.

We wented to da sisters house for Crispmas day after we had opened our pressies. Da littlest peep is getting pretty big  now. We gots to see him come downstairs to see what Santa had brung him.

We stayed da day dere and of coarse we gots to have turkey dinner. We got some other pressies too from Auntie Julie and from cousin Merle.

I gots a nerf Frisbee. Mums thought it be funny to put it on my head. I does not care as long as someone will play Frisbee wid me.

We haded people over to our house agin for da New Years Eve, I was sure glad dere was na too much ringing in da New Year. I is a bit afraid of too much ringing and noise.

Crispmas be all over now. Mums tooked da tree down dis weekend. She putted us in da sunroom so she could get it outside. Keltic was na too happy about being stuck in dere since he could na tell Mums what to do but somehow she managed to get it outside wid out us helping her.

We still has some decorations up but dats just cuz Mums does na like for dem to all come down. She says da house looks bare then. It will all gets put away next weekend she says. Until next year and weez do it all again.

Pawsome Christmas

Hey dere eberyone, it's me Keltic.  Beckett was right, Sandy Paws, I mean Santa Paws brought us some pawsome pressies.  I been too busy playin wid my new toys and eating treats to write before now.

We started out our mornin openin up the pressies in our socks that Santa Paws filled.  He gaves us both some new toys and treats.  Mums included a video of us openin our gifts, she had to heps us just a little bit as I wasn't too sure I was loud to rip dem.

Then it was off to Mums family for the big Christmas. There was lots of other pressies, mostly for the peepuls but we got some too.  We gots new bowls and place mats from Mums. I wasn't too thrilled wid that pressie as you cants play wid them and der was no food in dem.  Mums told us she boughted dem a long time ago when de old guy, Tucker, was still livin wid us. At first, she only boughted two sets but den she felt bad about de old guy and went back an boughted anudder set.  We all misseded Tucker this Christmas. 

We gots new stuffies from our neybour Auntie Julie. We also got a big gift of treats from Mums. She says dey is all natural, I don care if dey is or not but dey sure tastes good. I wanted to hep myself but Mums says you cants eat too much of dem.

After all the pressies were opened, the peepuls just sort of hung around. They made a big deal bout dis little peepul guy. He smelled kinda good but I wasnt loud to licks him.

Later on, the peepuls sat down to dinner but they didnt let us eats wid dem.  But when Mums finished she made us sum dinner. We gots turkey, mashed tater, veggies and gravy.  I luved it all and wolfed it right down. Beckett ates slower den me, he ates his turkey and gravy first, den he ates his taters and veggies. Mums had to keep me out of his plate; I sure was willin to hep him clean da plate.

So I weally, weally enjoyed my first Christmas. We was so tired when we gots home that's we went straight to our beds.

Oh and I gots one special gift from Mums, an ornament for da tree. Beckett didn't get one cuz he already got one in da tree.
