Homeless

This morning my mother passed away. She had a stroke in 2008; she never recovered  from the stroke so she has been in a nursing home since that time. When my father passed away in 2011, I didn't think my mother would be with us this long, she always said she wanted to die and be with dad.

Just last week, the nursing home told us that she was failing and she wouldn't see this summer but they didn't feel her passing was imminent. My sister and I made plans to go down, we were to leave tomorrow evening; now we will leave tonight.

Rest in peace with the angels now, Mum, you're home with dad.

I'm a homeless child now.
